Social Insect Behaviour & Ecology

We are currently advertising three 4-year PhD opportunities to study bee ecology, behaviour and nutrition:

• Project 1: The impact of parasitic bees & climate change on stingless bees and Indigenous beekeeping livelihoods in the Peruvian Amazon
• Project 2: Understanding the drivers of floral specialisation and its impact on bee nutrition and health
• Project 3: Ecological factors driving flower constancy and dietary diversity in social bees
